As a new homeowner, why should I bother with landscaping?

    What is Hardscaping?
"Hardscaping" refers to the non-living man made elements of a landscape. Hardscaping includes elements made from concrete, brick, stone or wood. For example, constructing a patio or deck is a hardscaping project, as is a paver walkway, wall or fire place.

Do plants and grass have a positive impact on the environment?
Yes. A turf area just 50' by 50' absorbs carbon dioxide and hydrogen fluoride and releases enough oxygen to meet the needs of a family of four. In addition, plants not only absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen into the atmosphere, but plant leaves, roots and soil combine to act as a highly effective air cleaner.

Does waiting longer between mowings effect my lawn?
Yes. Mowing your grass is about more than just keeping it's height under control. When mowed on a regular basis, mowing stimulates the blades of your lawn to a thicker, healthier turf. Mow shorter in the cool months and raise the deck in the hotter months and only cut off 1/3 of the leaf blade.

What is the difference between Perennial and Annual?
Annual plants live for one growing season and then die, while perennials regrow every spring. The difference is genetic, and yet, a clever "plant gene therapy" technique can be used to change an annual into a perennial.

    Why is professional maintenance important?
You probably wouldn’t allow your business to go without proper care and maintenance as it would deteriorate quickly and lose value. The same applies to your landscape. You have made a significant investment in your landscaping and it needs to be properly cared for through a professional turf and plant health care program designed to protect that investment and ensure a healthier and more enduring landscape. An Account Manager will be assigned to manage your property and assist you with additional needs you may have on your site.
